Our
Story

Fantasy football brings guys together — but under the trades and trash talk, many of us are carrying more than just a roster. We’re carrying stress, pressure, and questions we don’t always say out loud.

That’s where we come in.

Mask Off Fantasy Football was created by Justin McClain, LCSW — a licensed therapist, men's group facilitator, and lifelong fantasy football player. After years of working with men in therapy and in life, he saw a gap: men were craving genuine connection, but didn’t always know how to access it. Fantasy football became the bridge.

Here, competition and vulnerability go hand-in-hand. Our memberships and content are designed to help men show up more fully — as fathers, husbands, friends, leaders, and humans.

This isn’t your typical fantasy football site. This is a place for guys who want to win their matchups and their mindset battles. A place where you can talk trade strategy one minute and personal growth the next — without judgment.

Here, you’re not just managing your fantasy team — you’re showing up for yourself.

You’re taking off the mask.

You’re building a better version of yourself — one season, one week, one conversation at a time.

Whether you’re a seasoned fantasy vet or just learning the ropes, you’ll find something more here.

This is mental toughness without being told to "Man up"  And the reminder that you don’t have to carry it all alone.

Meet Justin

When Justin isn’t managing his dynasty fantasy football teams, he’s serving his community as a mental health therapist and trauma specialist. He co-owns a private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is a proud graduate of Florida State University (FSU) and the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Justin is passionate about creating spaces where men can open up and connect. He facilitates local men's mental health groups and serves on the board of a domestic violence agency, working to break the silence around abuse. He’s also a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and the Florida State University Small Business Executive Program.

Outside of work, Justin loves to unplug by camping, fishing, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and dog. A self-proclaimed foodie, he never turns down good wings or tacos. He’s a diehard Tampa Bay sports fan, and when the house is quiet, you’ll find him watching scary movies—his favorite late-night ritual.
